Automated alerts when convergent catalysts fire — drill results, FDA milestones, contract awards, insider buying, government grants, institutional positioning — across critical minerals, energy & infrastructure, AI compute, biotech, and frontier resource plays. We show the data and the sources; you make the call.
Most newsletters give you a pick and a price target. Dragonfly gives you the tools to actually understand what you're holding, the math behind the call, and a verifiable record of every signal we've ever fired.
Every published signal is signed with an Ed25519 private key at publish time. Anyone can independently verify what we said, exactly when we said it. Competitors can quietly edit history; we can't. How to verify →
The full pipeline is built. The SHA-256 hash of every published signal will be written to multiple public blockchains the moment we cross 50 paying subscribers — once revenue covers the signing wallets, anchoring switches on retroactively for every active signal. No vendor lock-in, no trust in us required.
Signals today are already Ed25519-signed; on-chain anchoring is the second layer that makes the audit trail survive even if our servers vanish.
No black box. Every signal carries a 6-component breakdown: trigger pattern, COT positioning, regime alignment, technicals, volume, sector tailwind. Hover the score on any card to see which three components moved the needle, by how much, and why. Full walkthrough →
Dollars change value. Price NVDA in SOXX shares, ounces of gold, barrels of oil, kWh of electricity, hours of US median labor, or 7 other anchors. See whether a stock is actually expensive or just inflated. The lens you didn't know to ask for.
“$3 trillion” doesn't feel like anything. 1.4× Saudi Aramco does. 5.9× the US defense budget does. See years-to-payback at current free cash flow, market value per employee, and what 1 share buys in Big Macs · gallons of gas · hours of labor.
Replay every past signal across five exit strategies side by side: Buy & Hold · Catastrophic Stop · Stop + Re-Entry · Pyramid Scale-Out · combined. Plus a custom row you tune yourself. The lesson nobody else teaches: how you exit matters more than how you enter.
Every ticker we touch sits at one of four tiers, re-evaluated every 15 minutes from convergent catalysts. Tier 1 — published signals + Add Zone fires (sector-band pullback + bullish catalyst). Tier 2 — active watchlist (multiple bull catalysts, no bears). Tier 3 — speculative shelf (single catalyst, one more move and these tend to rip). Tier 4 — informational drawdown map. Click any ticker for live chart + every catalyst's source link + LLM-graded polarity reasoning.
A full-featured trade journal, tied to your actual signal attribution. Pre-mortem prompts on every signal-logged trade ("what would have to be true for this to miss?"). Post-mortem comparison at exit. Conviction × outcome calibration: see whether your own 80-conviction setups outperform your 60-conviction ones over hundreds of trades. Compound your edge over time.
Dragonfly keeps a curated watchlist of pre-IPO and frontier companies that retail brokers don't surface (currently Midnight Sun Mining / Dumbwa — KoBold JV partner in the Zambian Copperbelt · African Pioneer — First Quantum option partner · Canadian Energy Metals / Thor · Max Power / Lawson well, and more). The moment news breaks on any tracked subject across our source feeds, it auto-elevates to relevance-9 and lands on Radar Tier 2 within the next 15-minute scan.
Every morning before US open: a concise pre-market brief covering fresh signals, regime changes, and what actually moved overnight — nothing if nothing's newsworthy (no fake urgency). Plus a weekly Monday digest of every Radar tier-jump in the last 7 days, personalised: your watchlist + holdings movement first, then the broader Radar update. If nothing moved, no email. Respect for your inbox is built in.
When a bearish catalyst lands on a ticker you hold, you get a calm, data-framed alert: historical sector pullback range first (so you see "this is within typical recovery range" vs "this is beyond normal"), then the source with LLM reasoning, then the specific conditions that would actually break your thesis. Never urgency language. Never "SELL NOW." Most loss in trading comes from emotional reactions to news; this alert is built to eliminate that.
Paste your holdings — no account linking, no read-only API key, nothing that touches your money. Get a one-page tailored read: conviction score on each position, sector concentration and hidden correlations, where your portfolio overlaps with current Dragonfly theses, plus a portfolio rules check (single-position concentration / cash buffer / conviction-weighted exposure) and full diversification analysis (HHI + correlated clusters + asset-class spread). The conviction model — applied to your actual money. We never manage assets and we never see your account. You control everything.
Plus the unconventional bars at the top of this page — IEI tracking units of intelligence per unit of energy, and live crypto / market data with hover-to-learn popups on every metric. We measure what other tools don't, and explain it so you actually understand what you're seeing.

Every signal mapped to investable public tickers — including downstream public proxies when the subject is private. Live track record begins May 2026 — see live count & commitments below.
Two distinct things, presented separately. The backtest shows what our methodology would have flagged across 13 years of public data. The live track record begins now and accumulates one cryptographically-signed signal at a time.
The numbers and theses below show the kind of pattern Dragonfly's methodology surfaces — government filings, insider clusters, downstream beneficiary mapping. They are reference examples from 13 years of public catalysts. They have not been live-traded and they have not been recorded in real time. Anyone with a spreadsheet can show winners after the fact; we wouldn't pretend otherwise. Treat everything below this banner as illustrative of what we look for, not as a record we're asking you to trust.
The record we'll actually be judged on — the one anyone can independently verify — starts below ↓ from May 17, 2026 onward. Cryptographically signed at publish, anchored to Polygon / Base / Solana (and SUI once its Python SDK stabilizes) the moment we cross 50 paying subscribers. Every signal, winners and losers both, permanently recorded.
Most "track records" you see in this industry are useless because of three quiet flaws — look-ahead bias, retrofitted entry criteria, and signal repainting. Dragonfly's previous-results numbers don't have any of them.
That doesn't make backtest numbers equivalent to live performance — nothing does. But it does mean the methodology you're reading about is the same one we'll use going forward, not a different system retrofitted to flatter old data.
We even tested an auto-selected exit ladder (staged exits / trailing stops / hold, chosen per position) — across all 87 theses it returned +91% vs +380% for simply holding. Exits trim the losers but cap the winners, and the winners carry the whole record. That is why we hold. Full per-ticker comparison in the track record →
Vertiv Holdings — data center power & cooling infrastructure. Every hyperscaler building AI clusters is a Vertiv customer. Signal: DOE data center efficiency grant, Apr 2020.
Most newsletters tell you to take profits and use stops. We didn't assume — we backtested it. ~40 exit and risk-management strategies, repaint-free (every decision uses only data available that day), across 13 years and a 350-stock random control set. The result was unanimous: buy & hold beat all of them. Returns are driven by a handful of extreme winners — and any rule that caps a winner gives up far more than it ever saves by cutting losers.
47% of tracked theses have underperformed the S&P 500 over the same period. That's shown clearly in the full track record — not buried, not explained away. Here's what keeps losses contained when a thesis breaks:
Not financial advice. Past performance does not guarantee future results. All theses included — winners and losers.
Every Dragonfly signal published from May 17, 2026 onward is signed with our Ed25519 private key at publish time. Once we cross 50 paying subscribers we fund the chain wallets, and from that point every signal's hash is permanently anchored to Polygon, Base, and Solana — plus SUI once its Python SDK stabilizes — within minutes of publish. No edits, no backfills, no cherry-picks. Future you can verify every single one.
Every time we publish a signal, our system generates a unique digital fingerprint of it — think of it like a wax seal on a letter. If anyone (including us) tries to edit the signal afterward, the seal breaks. Anyone can check.
Once we cross 50 paying subscribers, each fingerprint also gets permanently recorded onto public blockchains (Polygon, Base, Solana). That means the record exists in multiple places at once and survives even if our website disappears.
The point isn't the technology. The point is that we can't quietly delete losers or backdate winners — and you don't have to take our word for it.
This counter ticks forward as real signals accumulate. When you see it at 50+ signals with verified outcomes and on-chain anchors, that's the moment Dragonfly's claim of an auditable, tamper-proof track record has actually proven itself. Until then, judge us on what comes next — not what came before.
This is an unedited example of what lands in your inbox — redacted only for the ticker name. Every signal includes the primary source document, not a summary of someone else's summary.

This only works if the foundation is honest — real data, real returns, real losers shown alongside the winners.

Hello. I’ve spent most of my life doing carpentry — picked up tools the moment I was old enough to work. I never wanted it to be my career, or at least never wanted to need it to be. There's a big difference between doing something because you want to and doing it because you have to. What I always really wanted was to get to a place where I had that choice.
It took over 15 years to actually figure it out. I'm not a hedge fund manager. I'm not a financial advisor. This is educational — I just track the sectors I believe in, let the data do the talking, and hope the track record speaks for itself. I'm not here to sell anybody on anything. I'm not a fan of pushy salespeople either.
I built Dragonfly Systems over the years because I got tired of tracking all of this manually. The system does it now. I'm sharing it because I think more people should have access to this kind of research — and because keeping a public track record keeps me honest.
More than anything, I wanted to build a community that can learn and thrive together — so more of us have the financial freedom to do what we love, with less stress. After many years of building this quietly, this is the beginning of that — and I’m genuinely excited to finally open it up to the world.
The name comes from the dragonfly — reportedly the most effective hunter in the natural world, with a strike rate around 95%. For comparison: lions close roughly 25% of hunts, great white sharks around 50%, cougars 20–30%. It's not brute force. It's precision. That's what I wanted the system to reflect — not more signals, better ones.
By all means, feel free to give me feedback — I'm all ears. Cheers.
